a lovely place for exploring san jose. blanco y negro, where you can eat, is easy walk to the hotel.

The hotel is clean, safe and nicely decorated. Handicap accessible with elevator and ramp. Delicious and filling breakfast. Helpful and nice staff. Convenient location near the bus station.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! the location was perfect - it was close to the center and within walking distance to the historical sites. Secondly, the staff was fantastic. Jorge and Andrea at the front desk were extremely kind and helpful. They spoke English very well, which made it easy for me to communicate. Thirdly, the rooms were clean and comfortable. They had basic amenities and the TV and WIFI worked seamlessly. Lastly, the breakfast, which was included in the rate, was delicious. Eduardo, the staff member in charge, served it with a smile. this hotel offers great value for money and provides excellent service.

All was great, nothing to improve!

Very competitive price. Rooms are basic, but clean and comfortable. Tv had loads of international channels. Airport pickup was not cheap at 35 usd, but they organsied it for me and I was glad that someone met me upon arrival. Staff is friendly. Breakfast is included, if not much. Wifi worked, but only in the lobby.

Seems to be a bit out of town, not sue, if you can walk to the tourist attractions. I just used hotel as stopover.

The location was great, conveniently close to a bus stop, making it easy to get around. It was a unique and charming place to stay during my trip. I absolutely loved the cozy cocoon-like atmosphere. Plus, the Wi-Fi worked well and was accessible in all areas of the property.

I was please to stay at cocoon hotel one good thing was the elevator which vary convenient if your on 3-4 floor the breadfast was nothing to brag about,but it came with the price of the room.

The only bad thing if your thirsty for bottle water be prepared to pay $4.00 or 2 thousand colones for 1 litre of water, what a shame to sell at that price.

Close to downtown, but there are many better options for less

However, there were lots of vacant rooms in Booked.net website so there was an obvious discrepancy

we enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient, as it was close to both the bus station and downtown at basement prices. The staff were accommodating and patient, providing helpful service to meet our needs. Although the room was not perfect, it was still livable and had some great facilities available. One minor negative was the parking situation, which could be improved.

Ok hotel for the price. Normal standard. Good breakfast. Two options to choose from. Central lokation. Near Caribe bus station.

The hotel is qute close to the centre and the pedestrian streets, but in a very rough neighbourhood! Bums and garbage everywhere in the area.

The hotel provided a good full breakfast included in the price. The staff, especially Susan at the front desk, was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and bright. The location was conveniently near the historical center and in between the two bus stations I had to travel through.

Mildew or mold in our room. Leaky faucet in bathroom that no one cared to log.same for the leaky toilet, water running all night, but not bad enough to complain, but again, no one seemed to care when I brought it up at check out.
